The project aims to add aesthetic appeal in the area, encourage walkability, promote community engagement, and celebrate local artist talent. Artists living within 50 miles of Jackson, Tennessee, are encouraged to send qualifications to Our Jackson Home with a letter of interest to install a temporary sidewalk art installation on the west sides of the Lafayette St. and Shannon St. intersection in Downtown Jackson.
Sunday, September 8, 2024, on the Rockabilly Ridge trail system at Madison County’s Rockabilly Ridge at Pugh Bourne Park, around 500 middle and high schoolers from all over TN are expected to race laps on the 3.5 mile off road loop. Races start at 9:00 am and continue until 2:00 pm.
