Veteran’s Day Commemoration at Jackson State Community College
Jackson State Community College (JSCC) is hosting a special Veteran’s Day Commemoration on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 11AM in the student center.
The event, organized by Dr, Paul Morgan, Dean for Students, will feature a traditional military cake-cutting ceremony, where the first slices of cake will be presented to the youngest and oldest veterans in attendance.
JSCC President Dr. Carol Rothstein will also present the Chancellor’s Commendation for Military Veteran’s Challenge Coin, recognizing outstanding veterans for their service.
Those attending are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue to show support for our veterans and service members. This commemorative event offers a meaningful opportunity to honor those who have served our country.
