DESCRIPTION:Brownsville and Haywood County will host Tina Turner Hertiage Days on September 27-29\, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Flagg Grove School opening. Fans can explore Tina’s hometown of Nutbush\, visit the Tina Turner Musem\, and enjoy special events like a fan gathering\, a tribute concert\, and a zoom session with her former artist\, Joel Campbell. The weekend also includes exclusive tour footage and a chance to worship at Tina’s home church on Sunday. \n  \nFriday\, September 27 \n10PM | Nutbush Tour – includes Nutbush\, Ripley and the Alex Haley Museum in Henning. Reservations are required. \n5:30PM | Fan gathering\, special presentations and Tinaoke (Tina karaoke) \n  \nSaturday\, September 28 \n9AM & 1PM | Nutbush Tour. Tour Tina’s childhood communities (Nutbush\, former home sites\, church\, etc.) Limited Seating. Reservations required.  \n2PM | Zoom with Joel Campbell\, pianist during three Tina tours\, including her 50th Anniversary Tour. Q&A to follow. \n5PM | “Break Every Rule” video premier\, with never-before-seen footage\, produced by Deric Dyer\, saxophonist during the BER tour\, and introduced by Dr. Ralph Craig\, author of “Dancing in my Dream.” \n7:30PM | Elevation Memphis: A Tina Turner Tribute Experience Concert. Outdoor event; bring your lawn chairs. \n  \nSunday\, September 29 \n8AM |  Woodlawn Missionary Baptist Church service (Tina’s former place of worship). Fans may gather at the WTDHC and carpool. \n  \n  \nConcessions will be onsite throughout the event.
