The Ned is thrilled to announce the upcoming production of A Year with Frog and Toad, presented by the Jackson Children and Teen Theatre. This production marks the 51st year of bringing entertainment to the Jackson area, following the theatre’s 50th anniversary celebration in June.
Based on the acclaimed children’s books by Arnold Lobel, A Year with Frog and Toad follows the adventures of two best friends, the cheerful and upbeat Frog and the grumpy but lovable Toad. This whimsical musical captures a year in the life of these amphibious pals as they navigate the challenges of each season together, celebrating the bonds of friendship, the beauty of nature, and the simple joys of life.
Audiences can expect to enjoy a heartwarming and entertaining show, while parents can look forward to seeing their children connect with classic characters portrayed by young artists ranging from 6 to 16 years old. This production showcases the incredible talent of our local youth under the direction of Ned Director David McCall, with choreography by Tatonia Dunlap, and assistant direction by Kristin Klonowski.
Tickets are now available for purchase online at the Ned’s City of Jackson website, Tix.com, or by calling the Ned offices at (731) 425-8397. Tickets are $15 for adults, and $12 for children, students, seniors, and military. The group rate for parties of 10 and more is $8 per ticket.
