Raina Shults, owner and founder of Sprinkle Me Sugar, is competing in the prestigious Entrepreneur of Impact contest. Known for creating the first macaron vending machine in the U.S., Shults blends French culinary artistry with innovative technology to make gourmet treats accessible.
Inspired by a trip to Paris and Candace Nelson’s cupcake ATM, Shults launched Sprinkle Me Sugar’s macaron vending machines. These high-tech machines bring a taste of Paris to customers nationwide, redefining the dessert experience.
“Our products create moments of joy, mark life’s milestones, and foster connections between loved ones,” Shults says. “This vision of enhancing people’s lives through simple pleasures is my driving force.”
The contest winner will receive $25,000, a meeting with entrepreneur Daymond John, and a two-page feature in Forbes magazine. Public voting plays a key role, with one vote allowed daily. If she wins, Shults plans to expand her concept with two vending machines in Nashville, streamline operations, and develop a franchise model for national growth.
