Shiloh Rocks! – Shiloh to Host a Geology and Earthquake Junior Ranger Camp

Join Shiloh National Military Park for Shiloh Rocks! – a Geology and Earthquake Junior Ranger Camp on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Come and learn about the geological processes that makes the Shiloh landscape look the way it does, and how the weather and climate continue to change the landscape. We will explore earthquakes and build our rock knowledge with Shiloh Rangers. “We learn geology the morning after the earthquake,” said Ralph Waldo Emerson.

The camp will be held on Saturday, June 1, at the Shiloh National Military Park visitor center from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Participation in this camp is free to registered Junior Rangers and their guardians, so don’t wait, register today by calling 731-689-5696. We are limited to only 50 Junior Rangers (parents and guardians are always welcome but are NOT counted as part of the 50) for this camp, so don’t wait, please sign up today.
