The West Tennessee Healthcare Sportsplex has around 70 acres of fields for baseball and softball lovers, conveniently located next to the Jackson Rockabillys Ballpark. With a total of 17 fields, this facility hosts everything from regional and national tournaments to clinics and college competitions. It’s a perfect spot for family fun and memorable experiences.
OUTDOORS
When you visit Jackson, you’re in the perfect spot to discover some of West Tennessee’s most scenic outdoor adventures. Just a short drive away, you’ll find Shiloh National Military Park, where rich history meets beautiful landscapes, and Reelfoot Lake, a winter haven for bald eagles.
Closer to home, Chickasaw State Park, with its scenic trails and lovely picnic spots, or Natchez Trace State Park, where you can hike, fish, or just unwind in nature. For a little more excitement, check out Paris Landing State Park and Pickwick State Park both nested along the Tennessee River. They offer great boating, golfing, and cozy lodges for a weekend getaway.
If you’re looking for something unique, visit the Hatchie River National Wildlife Refuge, home to the longest stretch of naturally meandering river in the lower Mississippi River Valley, ideal for canoeing and spotting wildlife.
