Jackson: Hidden Tracks and Visit Jackson TN are excited to announce a new music series – Duck & Cover – filmed right here in Jackson, TN. Recorded at Jaxon Records, Duck & Cover serves two purposes:

• To highlight the diversity and creativity of West Tennessee musicians beyond their usual repertoire as they perform unique interpretations of cover songs
• To amplify Jackson’s reputation as a vibrant place for music and culture, attract attention from music fans, and encourage visits to explore the local scene

The first release in the series showcases LOLO, a Grammy-nominated Jackson native, covering Sheryl Crow’s “Hard To Make A Stand.” Beyond her Broadway achievements and chart-topping hits, LOLO’s commitment to community and musical innovation embodies the spirit of West Tennessee’s rich musical landscape.

LOLO expressed her enthusiasm about the project, saying, “Launching the Jackson Hidden Tracks Duck & Cover series with such an iconic song was a blast! Giving artists a platform to create one-of-a-kind performances of the songs that inspire us is a great contribution to the music being made in West Tennessee, and I can’t wait to see what other artists bring to the table!”

LOLO’s cover performance can be viewed at YouTube.com/@JacksonHiddenTracks. Additional installments of Duck & Cover will be released throughout the year.

Along with each Duck & Cover recording, artists will perform one of their originals. LOLO’s “Higher” is now available to view on Jackson Hidden Tracks’ social media platforms and YouTube channel.
