Jackson Choral Society “Seasons” Rehearsals
Join the Jackson Choral Society on Monday, August 5th from 7 pm-9 pm for a listening party (with refreshments) at First Methodist – Downtown Jackson, TN to get a preview of the selections for the “Seasons” concert that will be held on November 16.
The first reading of the music for the Fall concert “Seasons” under the direction of Zach Young and with accompanist Mitzi Mathenia. Singer registration begins at 6:30 PM. Snacks and fellowship after the singing!
Every year has four seasons, each with its own unique beauty, traditions, and moods. We’re going to carry our audience on an imaginative journey through spring, summer, fall, and winter, in a variety of musical styles and poetic images.
Practices will be held on Monday nights from 7 pm-9 pm leading up to the concert.
