Hub City Film Festival 2024: Screening Schedule and Tickets Now Available

The Hub City Film Festival is excited to announce the official screening schedule and ticket sales for the 2024 event, taking place from September 26th to 28th in Jackson, Tennessee. The festival will showcase over 50 films, including a diverse selection of documentaries, short films, and music videos, all celebrating the talents of filmmakers from across the region and beyond.

  • Catbird Studio

The festival will conclude with a Red Carpet and Awards Ceremony on Saturday, September 28th, at The Ned, where we will honor the outstanding achievements of this year’s filmmakers.

Ticket Information:Passes are now available for purchase, offering a range of options to fit your festival experience:

  • VIP Pass: $60 – Full access to all screenings and seminars, priority seating, and a commemorative festival t-shirt.
  • General Admission Pass: $25 – Access to all screenings and seminars across the three-day festival, with priority entry and a festival program guide.
  • Day Pass: $15 – Choose from September 26, 27, or 28, with access to all screenings and seminars on the selected day, plus a festival program guide.
  • Individual Event Ticket: $10 – Access to one specific screening or seminar.

Festival Highlights:This year’s lineup includes several standout films:

  • “As Easy As Closing Your Eyes” – Directed by Parker Croft, this 20-minute film explores grief and memory through the story of a mother addicted to a drug that allows her to dream about her lost son.
  • “Frog-Man V” – Directed by Rachael Camp, this 8-minute coming-of-age comedy taps into 90s nostalgia and childhood fears, offering a quirky and heartfelt narrative.
  • “Soul of the City: Hub City Mass” – Directed by Ryan Pflasterer, this 20-minute mini-documentary celebrates the legacy of Gospel music in Jackson, TN, through the lens of the Hub City Mass Choir.
