Love is in the air, and the 1837 Providence House, a cherished landmark nestled in Casey Jones Village, invites couples to the fourth annual Valentine’s Day dining experience. Seatings will take place at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024, and costs $150 per couple, plus tax. Reservations should be made by Thursday, Feb. 8, by 12 p.m.
Couples will savor a three-course meal featuring a tossed salad, featuring a medley of spring mix, succulent strawberries, crispy bacon, candied walnuts, shaved parmesan, cranberries, and a delectable vinaigrette. The culinary journey continues with a luscious roasted red pepper and smoked gouda bisque.
The main course is a choice between a sumptuous roasted chicken breast with a sun-dried tomato and white wine cream sauce, an exquisite filet mignon au poivre, masterfully cooked medium in a cognac and pepper cream sauce, or a mouthwatering pesto crusted mahi mahi accompanied by a zesty lemon cream sauce. Each entrée will be served alongside savory garlic herb mashed potatoes, roasted broccolini and carrots. For dessert, Guests will have a choice between the classic Tiramisu or a heavenly homemade village strawberry cake.
