Former Students of West Bemis Rosenwald School Sought
Former students from the sixteen Tennessee Rosenwald schools, including the West Bemis Rosenwald School, Madison County, are invited to participate in the Rosenwald School Heritage Initiative Oral History Project.
The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development funds this project through a grant to the Albert Gore Research Center at Middle Tennessee State University. Its goal is to gather and preserve the memories of former students at select Rosenwald schools. Their unique experiences and perspectives are the heart and soul of the project.
