SUMMARY:The 10th Annual LOLO Christmas Show
DESCRIPTION:The LOLO Christmas Show and Gospel Brunch is an annual event\, held at Hub City Brewing in Historic Downtown Jackson\, TN\, to benefit RIFA’s Snack Backpack ministry. LOLO is a Grammy-nominated recording artist and Broadway veteran who was born and raised in Jackson. The event originated because of LOLO’s heart for her hometown and its children in need.  \nThis year’s 10th annual LOLO Christmas Show and Gospel Brunch will be three shows in one weekend. Saturday morning\, December 13th and Sunday morning\, December 14th\, the Gospel Brunch performances will begin serving food at 11AM and the live show will begin at 12:00PM. The Gospel Brunch performance is full of holiday spirit\, praise and worship! The Brunch events also feature a raffle\, silent auction\, and a live auction. In addition to performances by LOLO\, many other artists make guest appearances. \nSaturday night\, December 13th\, the ‘Not So Silent Night’ evening performance will be a general admission ticket with limited seating and rock n’ roll Christmas songs that will make you wanna deck the halls and dance the night away! \nThe LOLO Christmas Show events are open to people of all ages.  \nThe Snack Backpack ministry fights childhood food insecurity by providing consistent access to food on the weekends to Jackson-Madison County’s elementary school students. Through the ministry\, children who depend on free school breakfasts and lunches receive a Snack Backpack to take home each Friday. Each week\, 1\,000 students throughout the county receive a Snack Backpack from RIFA.

DESCRIPTION:Come on out to experience the night sky in the same manner the Indigenous people of Pinson would have. Join the Rangers of Pinson Mounds to learn about stargazing practices during the Woodland period and how it helped to shape the construction of the Pinson Mound Complex. \nAfter a brief presentation by the Rangers\, we will take time to relax under the stars! \nThis program is fee based. The cost is $5 per participants. \nYou will need to bring: A picnic blanket or lawn chair\, Weather appropriate clothing (It may be cold!) A bottle of water or warm drink. A positive attitude! \nParticipation in this program comes with some perks! Hot chocolate will be available during the program! We will be offering a 15% off on select items from the Gift shop that relate to the theme of the program!
