Join Ranger Dedra Friday morning to celebrate the first full day of summer. Whether you come for the historical significance\, or to feel the energy of the first sunrise of the summer\, we welcome you and would love to have you join us! We will meet in the museum parking lot at 5:00 AM\, and proceed to the mound’s summit. \nPlease note that this event is **WEATHER PERMITTING**. If we have inclement weather (heavy rain\, storms)\, a Facebook post will be issued before the time of the event\, or possibly the evening prior. Pageant week is June 16-22\, with preliminary competitions held on June 19\, 20\, and 21\, and the crowning on June 22. The Queen’s Ball will be held after the final night of competition.
