The cast features over 30 Jackson locals who bring to life the various roles in the story\, including the iconic Dreams – the trio inspired by the Supremes and originally portrayed on Broadway by Sheryl Lee Ralph\, Jennifer Holliday and Loretta Devine and in the film by Beyonce\, Jennifer Hudson\, and Anika Noni Rose.
