DESCRIPTION:Hey\, Hey\, The Blues Is Alright will be presented by: The Jazz Foundation on November 2nd at 7PM at the Ned McWherter Cultural Arts Center. Attendees can look for an unforgettable evening of blues and celebration. \n  \nTerry “Harmonica” Bean is an Amercian Blues harmonica player\, guitarist\, and songwriter from Pontotoc\, Mississippi. Since 2001\, he has released seven albums and appeared in three documentaries exploring the blues experience. As a one-man band\, Terry plays both guitar and harmonica\, performing nationally and internationally.  He is one of the most sought-after musicians in blues today. \nAnthony Sherwood picked up his first guitar at age 4. Over the years\, he has mastered bass\, keyboard\, and drums. As the godson of Big Jack Johnson and a student of legends like Johnny Billington and Josh “Razorblade” Steward\, Anthony learned stage presence and respect. Now an international blues artist\, he gives back to the Delta by teaching blues music at the Delta Blues Museum.

The audience will be taken on an imaginative journey through spring\, summer\, fall\, and winter\, featuring a variety of musical styles and poetic imagery. As a special bonus\, the concert will conclude with winter and a few Christmas songs to send the audience off on a cheerful note. \nGeneral admission tickets are $20\, and student tickets are $15.
