Writers Night at the Carnegie is an opportunity for Jacksonians to meet and learn more about our local authors.

Ryan Matthews is our featured author for December. Ryan Matthews is a young adult author and ESL teacher from Jackson, Tennessee. His debut series, The Release Day Saga, is a young-adult dystopian sci-fi series. Release Day, Kano’s Grasp, Arjun’s Path, and Zephyr’s Hope are available in hardcover, paperback, and e-book. Release Day has recently been released on Audible.

Ryan also enjoys taking nature photos, studying foreign languages, and playing the French horn. He holds degrees in graphic design and education. He lives in Tennessee with his wife, daughters, and the family pets, Luna & Coda.
