Wildflower Workshop & Jelly Tasting

March 13 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 pm

Discover the vibrant world of wildflowers at Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park with Park Manager Dedra. This engaging program will guide you through the art of wildflower identification, highlight which native plants can be responsibly foraged, and explore the fascinating roles these blooms play in our local ecosystem.

As a special treat, participants will sample Redbud jelly made from a tree right here in the park — and you’ll receive the recipe so you can make your own at home. It’s a delicious way to experience nature firsthand and bring a taste of the outdoors into your kitchen. Be sure to bring a notebook, as you’ll leave with practical knowledge you can use on your next hike.

The program will be held in the Park Museum Auditorium. Preregistration is required, $5 per person. To reserve your spot, please call the park office at 731-988-5614.
