Celebrate National Poetry Month with The Griot Collective of West Tennessee at a special Open Mic Night  at the Legends of Tennessee Music Museum in downtown Jackson.

Poets, storytellers, and literature lovers are invited to share original poetry or readings from their favorite poets in a welcoming, creative environment. Winners of the Black History Month Poetry Contest will also be recognized and receive their prizes during the event.

This event is free and open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to attend, participate, and celebrate the power of poetry.
