Casey Jones Village Announces Reopening of Renovated Mini-Golf and New Attractions This Spring

Casey Jones Village is set to welcome visitors this spring with the reopening of its newly renovated 18-hole mini-golf course and the launch of several new attractions. Spearheaded by Joshua Mumford, the newly appointed attractions manager with over 13 years of experience in hospitality and tourism, these updates promise to enhance the Guest experience significantly.

“Joshua Mumford’s leadership is steering Casey Jones Village into a new era,” said Brooks Shaw, president of Old Country Store. “With the mini-golf reopening and additional new features ready to unveil, we are prepared for a busy season ahead.”

The mini-golf course, popular with guests for years, has been renovated and is slated to reopen in late spring. In addition, the Village has expanded its retail offerings, introducing the gem sluice and increasing the variety of products available to purchase at The Farm at Casey Jones Village, farm and garden-themed items such as sunglasses and drinks.

Improvements at the Casey Jones Train Museum include extended visiting hours and the introduction of a new audio tour designed to enrich the visitor experience. The museum’s theater is also being converted into a multi-purpose room to host various activities, such as story time and crafts, which will occur frequently throughout the summer.

Mumford emphasized the importance of community feedback in these developments. “We are enhancing Casey Jones Village not just as a tourist attraction but as a community focal point,” he said. The Village is also offering its Blue Ribbon Membership program, which offers exclusive discounts throughout the village for $99 for four people through December 31.

Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store is a multi-faceted destination. Located at 56 Casey Jones Lane in Jackson, Tennessee, it encompasses the restaurant, Miss Anne’s Ice Cream Shoppe, Miss Juanita’s Gift Shop, and the Dixie Café Takeout or Dine-In. The establishment is gearing up to celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2025.
