Save the Date for the annual Martin Youth Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 8th, from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Martin Recreation Complex Lake.

The rain date for this event is Sunday, June 9th. Participants should bring all items with them to fish, including bring a pole, bait, bucket or stringer, & seat/blanket.

This event is FREE for attendees and participants. The TWRA is allowing all youth participants to fish without an official license to encourage families to learn more about natural environments and increase the interest in fishing.

Schedule:
8 am – Registration Opens for all ages (14 & Under) – (all ages can begin fishing)
9 am – Registration closes
10:10 am – End the 5 & under fishing
10:45 am – End the 6-8 year old fishing
11:15 am – End the 9-11 year old fishing
11:45 am – End the 12-14 year old fishing
