The Bemis Historical Society Announces Decoration Day

The Bemis Historical Society joyfully announces Decoration Day on May 11th at Bemis Cemetery, situated at 221 Bemis Cemetery Rd, Jackson TN 38301. This cherished tradition from the past is being revived, and we aspire for it to become an annual custom once more. Whether your loved ones rest in the cemetery or not, we invite you to join us in adorning the graves of Bemis’s founding residents. Decoration activities will commence at 10 am and continue throughout the day. Although this is a designated event, you’re welcome to decorate a grave at any time of the year!
