Beth Bolton is a fourth generation Jacksonian with strong ties to the tourism industry. She began her career in Jackson as a travel agent at the age of 19, in the good ol’ days of actual handwritten airline tickets. Her love of travel and her knowledge of hospitality led her to working in the hotel business for the past 20 years, most recently having worked for two of the biggest global brands in the industry— Hilton and Marriott. During her time in hospitality, she not only helped to open a successful local franchise under the Marriott family, but also forged relationships throughout the city and state as a Director of Sales and General Manager for the brands.
Beth joins Visit Jackson as the group sales director, where she’ll be working to grow overnight stays. When she’s not working, she can be found spending time with her grandchildren, Jack and Charlie. When they come to visit, she takes them to the Farmers Market, to concerts at the Amp, and to have fun bowling at Hub City Brewery.
