There are few things more perfect on a summer night than live music on a front porch, and this #731Day, Wednesday, July 31 from 5 pm to 8 pm, we’re continuing with one of our new favorite traditions with the 7th Annual Porchfest! Enjoy FREE and family-friendly music from local musicians throughout the historic Lambuth Area Neighborhood Association area in the hospitable yards of your Jackson neighbors. Join in on the fun as long as you’d like, moving from house to house with your own lawn chair or picnic blanket and grabbing snacks from local food trucks along the route. This year, we will be around the Campbell Lake area of midtown. It will begin on Prospect Avenue, continuing on Crescent Avenue, and conclude on North Lake Drive.
The musical lineup this year includes local musicians Izzy Arthurs, JamirOTB, Paper Watch, Alice Hardin, and Aisha D. DuBose. Visual artists designing the stages for each performance include Crystal Brown, Katie Howerton, Adam Carlucci, and Elvia Trejo. The food trucks this year are Seb’s, Coastal Connections, Mae Lou’s Cafe, Pollito Loco, Congetta’s, Turntable Coffee Counter.
Thank you to Jackson Hidden Tracks and Tennessee Arts Commission for making this event possible. See below for a map of PorchFest:
